New Delhi: The BJP on Saturday appointed Bhabesh Kalita as the new state president of Assam BJP.
According to a party release, ‘BJP national president JP Nadda has appointed Bhabesh Kalita, MLA as State President of Assam BJP. This appointment comes into immediate effect.’ Bhabesh Kalita will replace Ranjeet Kumar Dass, who has been made Panchayat and Rural Development Minister in the new government in the state.
The BJP has appointed Sharda Devi as the new state president of Manipur BJP.
According to a party release, ‘BJP national president JP Nadda has appointed Sharda Devi as State President of Manipur BJP. This appointment comes into immediate effect.’
She will replace S Tikendra Singh , who passed away last month due to COVID-19.
