Kohima: The COVID-19 in Nagaland gradually came to a decreasing order for the past two days and Monday it has recorded 191 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, which increased the total number of COVID- 19 cases in the state to 20,259.
Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said Monday that among the 191 fresh cases, the highest 67 was reported in Kohima, followed by 53 in Dimapur, 28 in Tuensang, 25 in Mokokchung, six in Wokha, four in Zunheboto, four in Mon, two in Peren, one in Kiphire and one in Phek.
In recoveries, a total of 137 more patients recovered in Nagaland, which comprises of 53 in Dimapur, 38 in Kohima, 13 in Tuensang, 10 in Mon, nine in Kiphire, eight in Zunheboto, four in Mokokchung and two in Peren, Mr. Phom said.
With these the total number of cases have now reached 20, 259, of which the active cases are 4714 and total 14, 637 people have recovered, while with 11 COVID related deaths the total death toll rose to 285.
