9 Ministers take oath in Chhattisgarh

During a brief ceremony at the Raj Bhavan; Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Brijmohan Agrawal, Ram Vichar Netam, Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, OP Choudhary, Tank Ram Verma, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Laxmi Rajwade.

During a brief ceremony at the Raj Bhavan; Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Brijmohan Agrawal, Ram Vichar Netam, Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, OP Choudhary, Tank Ram Verma, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Laxmi Rajwade.

Agrawal, Netam, Baghel and Kashyap served as ministers in the earlier BJP dispensation under Raman Singh.

The Chief Minister and a couple of deputies were sworn in on December 13. As per constitutional provisions, the Council may have a maximum strength of 13.

Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sai, deputy CMs Arun Sao and Vijay Verma, Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, Leader of the Opposition Charan Das Mahant and erstwhile CM Bhupesh Baghel.
