Imphal: Manipur Police seized 640 grams of brown sugar from a person in Senapati district.
Police said on Friday, a man identified as D Datho was driving a car bearing an Assam registration number toward Nagaland. It was stopped and checked during which suspected brown sugar was found concealed below the seats of the driver and co-driver.
Fifty soap cases that had 640 GM of brown sugar were found concealed below the seats of the driver and co-driver of the vehicle.
A regular case was taken at Mao PS u/s 21(c) / 60(3) NDPS Act.
