6.5-magnitude quake hits south of Fiji Islands: USGS

Hong Kong: An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted south of the Fiji Islands at 04:31:42 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 602.3 km, was initially determined to be at 22.287 degrees south latitude and 179.541 degrees east longitude.
