Agartala: The five days long budget session of Tripura assembly began today with the customary speech of Governor Ramesh Bais where he has highlighted the development initiative of three years old BJP-IPFT government.
The Governor said that the state economy has got a massive boost over the year despite the Covid pandemic and the state domestic gross products has increased. The per capita income of the state has enhanced substantially over the last year.
He said that the state government has initiated multiple projects for the development of the agriculture sector and to achieve the target of making farmers’ income double by 2023.
