Imphal: Manipur reported 17 more positive cases among the general population in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday. During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related deaths while four persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 17 persons who tested positive, five each of them are from Imphal West and Imphal West, three each from Chandel and Thoubal and one from Bishnupur. Altogether, 228 persons were tested, amounting to a positivity rate of 7.5 %.
Of the four persons who recovered and were discharged, two of them are from hone isolation while the other two are from Shija Hospital. The recovery rate of the state as of Tuesday stands at 98.41 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 323 out of which 1, 35, 141 have recovered leaving 62 active cases in the state.
The total number of doses administered on July 4, is 3,248, the cumulative number of doses administered is 29,68,946 (1st dose 15,94,481, 2nd dose 12,60,656) and the precautionary dose is 1,13,809.
