Bishnupur: DC Bishnupur, Ranjan Yumnam along with Oinam A/C MLA, L Radhakishore Singh launched Covid Vaccination Express for Bishnupur district today by flagging off 5 vehicles at Mini Secretariat complex. The flagging off function was organized by the District Health Society, Bishnupur in association with District Family Welfare, Bishnupur.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ranjan Yumnam extended his gratitude to the state government for the relentless efforts put in to fight the pandemic besides providing vehicles to deliver vaccination services at the doorsteps in the district. Expressing his desire to make Bishnupur a fully vaccinated and covid-free district at the earliest, Ranjan Yumnam appealed to all the people of the district to get fully vaccinated as vaccination is the only protection from the virus.
The DC further informed that in case of any leikai in the district with more than 20 unvaccinated persons, local clubs and organisations can call 8131942463– the phone number of the District Covid Vaccination Planning team under CMO Bishnupur to book an appointment for vaccination.
ADM Bishnupur H Bobby, CMO Bishnupur Dr L Raichandra and other officials attended the function.
